With the Tankr key app seamlessly integrated into the locking systems, you can operate your rental station completely autonomously and without staff. Your customers can reserve, book, rent and return the equipment via the app – and it’s all very easy on a user-friendly app interface. You can use marketing functions to grant discounts, offer items for sale after rental and much more.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to download the Tankr app?
Yes and no. Browse the range of stations throughout Switzerland without registration and without an app. This works directly in your browser via the QR code on your station or the following link: app.tankr.ch
You only need the app if you want to open a locker from your booking - you will be notified directly in your booking and conveniently guided through the process.
Do I have to register in the app?
As soon as you want to book material or courses, you have to register - as long as you are only browsing the offer, this is not necessary.
What information do I need to provide for registration?
Tankr's onboarding guides you through the registration process. We need your e-mail address, your mobile number and your full home address. Your phone number will be verified by SMS - your security is important to us.
Is the app free of charge?
Yes. Only the rental and course offers of the local operators are subject to a charge.
Can I rent several items in one booking?
Yes. Reserve and rent equipment for your friends too. You can combine material from a rental station as you wish and add it to the shopping cart in the app. The different articles are displayed in the booking by scrolling to the right.
